Afghanistan exported and imported commercial goods worth over $5.24bn from January to June 2024, said the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Exports were mainly sent to Pakistan, India, and Iran, while imports came from Iran, Pakistan, and China. Fresh and dry fruits like pistachio, pine nut, fig, pomegranate, grape, raisin, melon, and watermelon are the most popular products for export in Afghanistan.
