Aditya Birla Group has launched its jewellery brand Indriya, entering the crowded Indian jewellery market worth $65 billion. The group plans to invest Rs 5,000 crore ($675 million) in the jewellery business over the next few years, aiming to become one of the top three players in the market. The Indian consumer market is expected to reach $25 billion in revenues and account for 25% of the conglomerate's overall turnover within the next five years.
