A fatal single-car crash occurred on July 24th at 11:00 PM in Catskill, NY on Route 9W South. A 2008 GMC Envoy driven by 61-year-old Thomas Konow from Claverack, NY left the road, struck an overpass, and caught fire. The Catskill Fire Company arrived at the scene, but the driver was pronounced dead before they could extract him. The New York State Police are investigating the incident, which remains under investigation.
