36-year-old Nipomo man, Bobby Heredia, was arrested for felony vandalism and criminal threats after a standoff lasting several hours. The incident began with Heredia vandalizing a vehicle and threatening to kill someone in the area on July 24. Upon fleeing the scene, he was later located at his home and barricaded himself inside. During the standoff, Heredia exited multiple times to challenge deputies before being apprehended by the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office.
