39-year-old man in serious condition after gunfire exchange during attempted armed robbery at Wauwatosa gas station. Suspects approached the victim while he was pumping gas, attempted to steal his vehicle, and exchanged gunfire with him. A nearby officer heard gunshots, pursued the suspects' vehicle, which crashed into a street sign, and arrested one of the suspects. The stolen vehicle was reportedly taken from Milwaukee on July 24th.
