75-year-old farmer found dead in a field in Scarisbrick, Lancashire, with suspected gunshot wounds. A 29-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody. The victim and suspect were known to each other, and police are treating the case as an isolated incident. The police are urging anyone with information, suspicious sightings, or dashcam footage from the Pinfold Lane area of Scarisbrick between 12 pm and 5:30 pm on July 25 to contact them. A shotgun was recovered from the scene.
