A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred in Pleasant Township, Seneca County, on July 26, resulting in the death of 56-year-old John Lunsford. A 20-year-old Oak Harbor man driving south on State Route 53 crossed the centerline and struck Lunsford's car. The younger man was seriously injured and airlifted to a hospital. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
