50-something hiker Christine Corkan was injured by a falling tree at Squamish's Shannon Falls Provincial Park on Aug. 10, 2022. She ended up in the hospital after being hit on the head. Two years later, she is still physically and mentally impacted by the injury. The hike itself was fine and enjoyable, with Corkan recalling climbing chains and ropes and meeting others along the trail.
