18-year-old Canadian goaltender Carter George signs a 3-year, $875k/year contract with the LA Kings after being drafted 57th overall in the 2024 NHL Draft. George, from Thunder Bay, Ontario, played for the Owen Sound Attack in the OHL, with a 23-21-9 record, 3.30 GAA, and .907 save percentage. He will return as the #1 starter for Owen Sound and attend Hockey Canada's national junior summer camp.
