TIME's 2024 'World's Greatest Places' awards recognized Dar Tantora The House Hotel in AlUla, Saudi Arabia, an ancient mud-brick houses city dating back 800 years. The hotel, one of only two lodging options in the heritage site, features 30 rooms restored using traditional materials and modern engineering. It was also named among the United Nations' World Tourism Organization's 2022 Best Tourism Villages.
