Wisconsin Athletic Director Chris McIntosh has signed a five-year contract extension, increasing his base salary from $1M to $1.45M, and will remain at the University of Wisconsin-Madison until 2029. The extension follows praise from Chancellor Jennifer Mnookin for McIntosh's leadership during a time of change in collegiate athletics. Since 2021, McIntosh has hired key coaches and overseen facility renovations.
