Wallaga Lake Bridge, restored since March 2024, reopens on July 29 with traffic lights and reduced speed limit.

Wallaga Lake Bridge, which underwent major maintenance and restoration work since March 2024, is set to reopen on July 29. Transport for NSW wishes to receive community feedback on their experience during the project, which involved two periods of full closure. The initial proposal to close the bridge 24/7 was altered after community opposition. After the final stage of work, the bridge will operate under traffic lights and a reduced speed limit.
