Vertical Aerospace's VX4 prototype completed its first tethered piloted flight, marking the start of testing for the zero-emissions aviation company's latest model. Vertical's Chief Test Pilot, Justin Paines, conducted the flight. The UK Civil Aviation Authority had issued Vertical permission for the test, and the prototype's performance was measured for thrust, handling qualities, and system performance.
