UK-based Ted Baker to close all UK stores, following NODL administration, with 245 job losses and Authentic Brands seeking a new UK/Europe partner.
Ted Baker, the UK-based fashion brand, is reportedly planning to close all its UK stores within weeks, following the administration of its business, No Ordinary Designer Label Limited (NODL), in March. This has resulted in the closure of 15 stores and redundancies for around 245 employees. Staff at the remaining stores have been informed that they will lose their jobs once the stores close. Authentic Brands, the US owner of Ted Baker's intellectual property, is seeking a new partner to manage the Ted Baker retail and online business in the UK and Europe.
