Texas Rangers pitcher Dane Dunning was activated from the 15-day injured list on Thursday, following recovery from right shoulder soreness. Dunning, with a 4.71 ERA this season, returns to the active roster as the Rangers aim to strengthen pitching options. Gerson Garabito, a fellow right-hander, was sent to Triple-A Round Rock to continue development in the minor leagues.
