Tasmanian doctor Stephen Edwards deliberately administered lethal doses of midazolam and morphine to his mother, causing her death.
A Tasmanian doctor, Stephen Edwards, has been found by a coroner to have deliberately caused his mother's death by administering lethal doses of midazolam and morphine. The 88-year-old woman, Nelda Edwards, died two days after her husband David Edwards, 90, who had passed away from natural causes related to cancer. Coroner Simon Cooper ruled that Stephen Edwards administered the drugs with the express intention of causing his mother's death.
