Researchers at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute developed CAR-Enhancer (CAR-E) technique to improve CAR T-cell therapies' efficacy and prevent relapse.

Researchers at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute have developed a new technique, called CAR-Enhancer (CAR-E), to potentially eliminate the relapse problem in CAR T-cell therapies. This approach makes CAR T cells more active and persistent, allowing them to eradicate all tumor cells and form a memory of the cancer cell for future recurrence prevention. Clinical trials for humans are expected soon.
