The Philadelphia Phillies have acquired outfielder Austin Hays from the Baltimore Orioles in a trade, giving up right-handed pitcher Seranthony Domínguez and outfielder Cristian Pache. Hays, a 2023 All-Star, has struggled with a .255 batting average and three home runs this season, but brings closing experience to the Phillies. The Orioles receive reliever Domínguez, who has a 4.75 ERA this season, and outfielder Pache.
