Nevada Judge Michele Fiore has been suspended from hearing court cases after being indicted on federal fraud charges. The charges accuse Fiore, a member of the Las Vegas City Council at the time, of fraudulently using funds raised for a statue of a slain police officer to pay political campaign costs and personal expenses. Fiore has pleaded not guilty and will continue to collect her salary during her suspension.
