28 Nepali bonded labourers rescued from risky work in India under false job promises.

28 Nepali bonded labourers were rescued by the Nepal government from India, where they were forced to work in risky circumstances, according to the Ministry for Women, Children and Senior Citizens. The men, aged between 24 and 60, were taken to Jammu and Kashmir under false promises of high-paying road construction jobs. The rescue mission was carried out with the help of Indian non-government organisation 'Keen India'.
