The Minnesota Vikings signed linebacker Jabril Cox and cornerback Jacobi Francis after placing Mekhi Blackmon on injured reserve due to a torn ACL. Cox, a former 4th-round pick, played with Dallas Cowboys and Washington. Francis, a former Houston Texan, played college football at Memphis. The Vikings waived undrafted free agent linebacker K.J. Cloyd to make room for the new signings.
