Martin St. Louis, former Tampa Bay Lightning player and current Montreal Canadiens head coach, commented on Steven Stamkos' exit from the team, stating that he thinks Stamkos will be glad for the opportunity to play for another franchise. Stamkos signed with the Nashville Predators after 16 years with the Lightning. St. Louis praised Stamkos' long tenure with the team but believes it's a good thing for him to experience something new.
