Macquarie Asset Management acquires National Grid's 20% stake in National Gas, taking full ownership.

Macquarie Asset Management has acquired National Grid's remaining 20% equity interest in National Gas, a company that owns and operates the UK's national gas transmission system. Following the transaction, a consortium led by Macquarie will own 100% of National Gas. The deal's financial terms were agreed upon, adjusting to the consortium's previous investments made in January 2023 and March 2024.
