Louisiana police officer Senior Cpl. Segus Jolivette was killed during a SWAT operation in the small city of Jeanerette in southern Louisiana. The police officer was identified as a member of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team and had served as a school resource officer in the past. The suspect involved in the incident has been captured and is no longer a threat to the public.
