Kerala BJP President calls for open budget discussion, claiming state received record Rs 3,000+ crore allocation.
Kerala BJP President K Surendran challenged the ruling Left government and the Congress-led opposition to an open discussion on the Union budget. He claimed that the state received a record allocation of over Rs 3,000 crore and higher allocations for central institutions, refuting allegations of the ruling Left and Congress parties. Surendran also mentioned a Rs 3,011 crore allocation for railway development in Kerala.
