Keith Scotland, former MP for Port of Spain South, has been appointed as Minister in Trinidad and Tobago's Ministry of National Security, focusing on police matters, illegal immigrants, drug enforcement and related issues. The appointment comes as Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley seeks additional resources to fight crime. Scotland will also address issues within the Police Service such as effective officers on leave.
