A pedestrian died in Fern Bay after being hit by a motorcycle at around 4:50pm on Friday 26 July. The motorcyclist was treated at the scene and taken to John Hunter Hospital for mandatory testing. Emergency services were called to Nelson Bay Road following reports of the crash. An investigation has begun, and police urge anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact local police or Crime Stoppers.
