On July 25, Orange SES responded to fallen trees on Forest Road and Huntley Road before a later storm, preceded by rain and 43 km/h wind gusts.

Orange SES responded to fallen trees earlier on July 25, before a violent storm hit the area. The emergency services received two calls around 7:30 pm, in response to trees down across Forest Road and Huntley Road. Although there was no storm at that time, the Bureau of Meteorology recorded 6.6mm of rain and wind gusts of up to 43 km/h within half an hour before the calls. The later storm, with winds of 30 km/h and gusts up to 44 km/h, did not require SES assistance.
