Google Home's public preview adds support for original Nest Doorbell and introduces AI-powered garage door detection for Nest Cam users with Nest Aware subscriptions. The garage door detection feature uses image recognition to determine if a door is open or closed, enhancing home security without additional hardware. Nest Doorbell support expansion is also rolled out to Public Preview users with first-gen wired Nest Doorbell devices.
