Garda William Ryan found guilty of sexually assaulting and falsely imprisoning a woman at Aughrim Garda Station.

Garda William Ryan has been found guilty by a Dublin Circuit Criminal Court jury of sexually assaulting and falsely imprisoning a woman at Aughrim Garda Station in Co. Wicklow. Ryan, 41, had pleaded not guilty to three counts of sexual assault and one count of false imprisonment of the woman, who came to the station to discuss getting her son's car back. The jury's unanimous verdict was reached after three and a half hours of deliberations.
