A new box set, "Electric Lady Studios: A Jimi Hendrix Vision," will be released on Sept 13, featuring 39 previously unreleased tracks by Jimi Hendrix, recorded with bassist Billy Cox and drummer Mitch Mitchell at Electric Lady Studios in New York in 1970. The set includes a Blu-ray with 20 new 5.1 surround sound mixes of the compilation album "First Rays of The New Rising Sun," three bonus tracks, and a documentary featuring never-before-seen footage and photos. In honor of the premiere, a portion of West 8th Street in NYC, where Electric Lady is located, will be temporarily renamed Jimi Hendrix Way.
