49-year-old woman prison officer arrested in Staffordshire on suspicion of misconduct following alleged 'inappropriate' contact with an inmate at HMP Dovegate, a Category B adult male facility. Regional Organised Crime Unit for West Midlands Police is investigating the case. Serco, which operates the jail, has a "zero-tolerance approach" to misconduct and is cooperating with the police.
