36-year-old Elmer Alvarado-Lopez, wanted in Massachusetts for child rape and assault charges, was arrested in Arkansas. State troopers stopped Lopez's vehicle on Interstate 40 for a traffic violation. He is being held at the Pulaski County Detention Center, awaiting extradition to the Lynn Police Department on a nationwide warrant.
