Uzbekistan's natural gas production dropped by 5.2% in H1 2024 to 22.3 billion cubic meters.

Uzbekistan's natural gas production fell by 1.2 billion cubic meters in the first half of 2024, compared to the previous year, with 22.3 billion cubic meters produced. The country drilled 43 wells in the first six months, exploring deep Jurassic deposits. Four gas pretreatment units were built and 56.4 km of gas pipeline constructed to maintain stability in natural gas transportation.
