UK's Supreme Court to hear appeals from ex-traders Hayes and Palombo, jailed for rate-rigging (Libor, Euribor).

UK's Supreme Court will hear appeals from two former financial market traders, Tom Hayes and Carlo Palombo, both jailed over rate-rigging. Hayes was found guilty of conspiracy to defraud over manipulating the London Inter-Bank Offered Rate (Libor), while Palombo was convicted of skewing Libor's euro equivalent, Euribor. Their appeals were dismissed in March, but the Supreme Court will consider their cases to clear their names.
