1,000 tourists evacuated from camping village in Puglia, Italy due to wildfire near Vieste.

1,000 tourists were evacuated from a camping village in southern Italy's Puglia region due to a wildfire that broke out near the town of Vieste. The fire started in a wooded-coastal area close to the Bay of San Felice and was pushed by strong winds towards the Baia di Campi village. Tourists who did not have cars were evacuated by boat and are being accommodated in a gymnasium in Vieste.
