Siltronic, a German semiconductor materials supplier, reported a 14% decrease in half-year sales to 694.8 million euros ($753 million) due to weak demand in the wafer market. The company produced silicon wafers for semiconductor chips and reported revenues of 808.2 million euros for the same period in the previous year.
