Nigeria Customs Service seizes N11bn worth of contraband drugs in Rivers, including codeine cough syrups, Chilly cutter, Hyergra tablets, and Really Extra Diclofenac tablets. Comptroller Muhammed Babandede expressed concerns about saboteurs and criminals still importing contraband goods and illicit drugs despite warnings and measures to tackle the issue. The impounded drugs will be handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency for further investigations.
