Steve McQueen's WWII drama "Blitz," starring Saoirse Ronan, will close the 62nd New York Film Festival, making its North American premiere on Oct. 10 at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall. The film tells the story of a working-class single mother and her 9-year-old son separated during the 1941 London blitzkrieg. "Blitz" is backed by Apple Original Films and will release in theaters on Nov. 1.
