Jammu and Kashmir police arrested two alleged overground workers (OGWs) in connection to the Kathua terror attack that killed five security personnel. The suspects, identified as Mool Raj and Layaqat Ali, were found to have withheld crucial information from the police, obstructing their efforts to prevent terrorist actions. Over 100 individuals have been questioned so far and preventive measures have been taken against more than 40 individuals to mitigate further risks and disrupt support systems for terrorist activities. The police have also initiated extensive search operations in the region to eradicate militancy.
