India's Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is monitoring cryptocurrency payments on the darknet to combat drug trafficking. Between 2020-2022, India tackled 92 drug trafficking cases involving dark net and crypto. Nityanand Rai, India's minister of state for home affairs, revealed 13 plans to tackle drug trafficking and narco-terrorism, two of which directly target cryptocurrency misuse.
