"Azrael", a horror film starring Samara Weaving, will have its exclusive theater premiere on September 27, later streaming on Shudder. Directed by E.L. Katz and written by Simon Barrett, the post-apocalyptic movie follows a woman escaping a fundamentalist community. IFC Films and Shudder have acquired the North American rights, with the film screening at SXSW Film Festival and Fantasia International Film Festival.
