High Court orders Eamonn Butterly to pay legal costs for Stardust nightclub fire victims' families.

Eamonn Butterly, former Stardust nightclub manager, has been ordered by the High Court to pay legal costs for the families of the 47 victims who died in the 1981 fire. The order follows Butterly's unsuccessful attempt to prevent an inquest jury from delivering an unlawful killing verdict. The court ruled that Butterly must cover the costs of the families' solicitors and counsel, limited to one senior counsel, one junior counsel, and the families' solicitor.
