Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's judicial custody extended in liquor policy scam case until Aug 8.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's judicial custody has been extended by a Delhi court until Aug 8 in relation to an alleged liquor policy scam. Kejriwal appeared via video conference from Tihar Jail. The court also extended the judicial custody of AAP leader Manish Sisodia, BRS leader K Kavitha, and other accused in a money laundering case connected to the same excise policy. Kejriwal's arrest by the CBI led him to be in judicial custody in a related money-laundering case filed by the ED, and despite receiving interim bail from the Supreme Court in the ED case, he remains in Tihar jail as he has not yet furnished the bail bond.
