Croatia bans Montenegrin officials over dispute regarding WWII Jasenovac camp remembrance.
Croatia has banned Montenegrin parliament speaker Andrija Mandic, deputy prime minister Aleksa Becic, and parliamentarian Milan Knezevic over a dispute concerning a World War II death camp. Montenegro recently passed a resolution to remember those killed in the Croatian Jasenovac camp, which was operated by Croatia's Nazi-allied Ustasha regime. Zagreb accused the officials of disrupting good neighborly relations and exploiting the victims' memory for political purposes.
