Bruce Lehrmann, who was found liable for raping Brittany Higgins, is attempting to delay paying a $2m legal bill as he appeals the defamation ruling. Lehrmann's solicitor Zali Burrows is seeking to postpone a court order that forces him to pay Network Ten's costs after losing the defamation case. Network Ten is also seeking an order requiring Lehrmann to pay $200k as security to cover any further legal expenses if they win the appeal.
