500+ Blizzard World of Warcraft developers have unionized, forming the World of Warcraft Gamemakers Guild (WoWGG-CWA) under the Communications Workers of America (CWA). The union includes various departments such as quality assurance, art, and engineering. This is the largest wall-to-wall union at Microsoft and marks the first time that an entire game development team has formed a union.
