North Yorkshire's Alpamare waterpark reopened after a nine-month closure under temporary management by Flamingo Land. The £14m park features four state-of-the-art slides, a wave pool, a splash and play area, a café, two outdoor pools, and a bar area. Flamingo Land Chief Executive, Gordon Gibb, plans to offer cheaper entry for local residents and make membership promotions to encourage multiple visits.
