Gear made threatening phone calls and sent emails between Nov 30, 2023, and July 7, 2024, targeting officials in Washington D.C., New York, New Jersey, and Montana. Charges include intent to impede, intimidate, and interfere with official duties and retaliate for their performance. Gear made his initial court appearance on July 23.
