14-year-old inmate, discharged by Circuit Court in Nkawie, Ghana, spent extra 5 months in prison due to a procedural error. The case was discovered during the Justice For All Program's in-prison sitting on July 22 at Kumasi Central Prisons. The Steering Committee Chairperson, Justice Angelina Mensah Homiah, has directed an investigation and promised accountability for the mishap.
